Directions

From Sydney by car, follow the signs to the airport/Wollongong. Continue south along Pacific Highway (1) - becomes F6 - towards Wollongong. Follow the sign off to the left for Helensburgh/Stanwell Park.

Lawrence Hargrave Drive winds down to the coast, with a sharp right-hand U-turn at the top of the escarpment. Continue down, passing Chellowdene Avenue on the left, take the next left hand divergence into the village (see map below). Approximate travel time 1 hr 15 mins.

From Wollongong by car, take, the Princes Highway to Bulli. Follow the signs to Sydney along the F6, taking the left exit to Helensburgh/Stanwell Park. At the roundabout, follow the signs to Stanwell Park. Beach Road is the extension of Lower Coast Road. Approximate travel time - half an hour.
